Found this online. No date for when the article was posted.
Their 0-60 time for the Performance 6MT is 4.5 sec.

I started my search for a Z at the start of January this year, and this article was around back then. At the time I didn't understand the landscape.

I was mostly interested in a credible 0-60 time, but if C&D is calling the 2023 Z a 2024 model, you have to question their credibility.

Likely there are no changes between the '23 and '24 model years.

Car and Driver tested a 9AT Performance - just a 2023 model this time. Car and Driver 2024 Nissan Z Review (6)

They got a 0-60 of 4.3, but, again, with 91. They think 93 might get them below a 4.0 based on their experience with the manual (4.5 w/91 vs. 4.1 w/93). I'd like to see a Sport tested to see if there are any differences.

It kind of seems like they want to hate this car.

I think the best acceleration time I've seen was a 3.9, though I can't recall who clocked it. Definitely an automatic. I do recall, however, that it was very difficult to repeat with any consistency. Times varied from that rather respectable sub-4-second run to nearly 5 seconds. Yikes.

3 gallons of 100 octane for every 10 gallons of 91 => 93 octane.

Oh. Maybe I should take that back. I haven't exceeded 4k rpm yet. Anybody else?

This isn't the car for you if you are hung up on 0-60 times.

Lol... I'm sure a near 4sec car will be enough for 90% of the audience...

91 works just fine and anything over 4k RPM makes you feel like you're driving the fastest car on the road.

As for the car reviews, I stated this in my post
People/Car Reviewers are obsessing with the numbers and all the "one-up" type garbage.

The car is the best looking Japanese sports car (imo) and just simply a breath-taking experience. Hope for each of you to experience.

Completely agree. I plan on driving the Z on the streets, not at a drag strip. Car and Driver 2024 Nissan Z Review (15) It has perfectly acceptable acceleration. If you want to get a smile, checkout the 0-60 time for the stock 240Z. Car and Driver 2024 Nissan Z Review (16)

This is fact. Admittedly, I'm irked that the traction issue is holding back the car's launch capability to such a large degree, but ultimately real-world driving just isn't well represented via these test numbers.

What is the difference between the 2024 Nissan Z and the NISMO? ›

The engine's output and the transmission are the biggest differentiators between the 2024 Nissan Z and Z NISMO. Both models use a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V-6 engine, but the NISMO's version makes an extra 20 hp and 34 lb-ft of torque, for totals of 420 hp and 384 lb-ft.

How long can a Nissan Z last? ›

Ideally, these types of cars should see part replacements halfway into their lifetime, around 120,000 to 150,000 miles, as this can lengthen the lifespan of the car. If taken care of properly, the vehicle should easily make it to at least 200,000 miles.

How long is the wait on a new Nissan Z? ›

Any new orders for Z are expected to be delivered in 2024. Due to global shipping shortages, transit times could be longer than expected. Contact your Nissan Dealer for more information.

Why is the Nissan Z so heavy? ›

Reinforcing this architecture to its present, admirably stiff state required adding bracing and, thus, mass. Our Performance trim, stick-shift 2023 Nissan Z weighs 3,519 pounds, about 100 pounds heavier than a 2017 370Z we tested years ago.

Are Nissan Z good cars? ›

Its compliance provides good comfort when commuting, but rival sports cars offer sharper reflexes. We haven't tested one yet, but the Z NISMO ups the ante with 420 horsepower and 384 pound-feet of torque. The increase in output is also joined by larger brake discs, stiffer suspension, and increased chassis rigidity.

Which Nissan has best resale value? ›

The bright spots for Nissan are its Frontier and Titan pick-ups, which outperform its passenger cars. Be careful with their sedans though; those might be better suited for Hertz and Avis, as they are popular within the rental fleets, and the big supply in the used market puts pressure on used pricing.

What does the Nissan Z compete with? ›

The Toyota GR Supra is the closest Z competitor in terms of power and capability, though it's more expensive. The BMW M240i might be more aspirational, but it too is a throwback for the Bavarians rear-drive roots and the heavier M2 remains a standout.
