How To Crochet An Easy French Beret Hat / Beginner Friendly Tutorial
Video
Hi everyone today, I'm gonna be showing you how to make these cute french head, berries, um, that's, the back side, it's.
So soft, uh, I made a similar one before you can watch it from here now.
And I use the same yarn for this one too, because I like this yam, very much it's.
So soft, um, I know, it's, uh, you cannot find this yarn easily.
You can use any category three tree or you choose, but it's, not a thicker tree.
Okay, it's a kind of a thicker two or lighter tree.
Yarn.
A 100 grams is 290 matters.
I use almost one mole of yarn that's, the remaining yarn, and it recommends three millimeter hook.
But I use a four millimeter.
Mainly only for this.
Last two rows.
I use 3.5 millimeter hook.
You don't have to use this one.
If you only have four or recommended your yarns recommended hook, you can only use it too.
You can make it any size you want.
I explained how you can make it in the video I'm gonna give you the measurements now.
So you can watch the video and see how it's turning out to do this shape, okay, it's, 27 centimeters long.
If you want to make it for the child, you can make two row less from here and one row less from here.
I'm gonna give you all the uh details in the video and that's all, uh, hope you like this one, too, please feel free to leave your comments about this hat.
If you are ready, please don't, forget subscribe to my channel and let's start start with a slip knot.
Then make five chains insert from this first chain, join the slip stitch.
And now we are going to use this loop chain one or two is up to you.
It it's, not count as a stitch.
Now I'm gonna make puff stitch yarn over insert into this space, grab the yarn pull through yarn over insert here, pull up a loop.
And one more time I have seven loops on the hook, totally yarn over pull through all then make a chain make one more chain.
That's, uh, just for the closing this puff stitch and make a chain, okay into the space, insert and make one more puff, stitch, one, two, three, yarn over pull through close with a chain.
One more chain insert same place.
One, two, three close.
The puff stitch with a chain, then make one more chain.
Now I'm gonna make totally ten puff, stitches all into the same ring here.
Okay.
So I make one more chain.
I made the last one then make the chain insert on the top of this.
Puff stitch join with a slip stitch.
Now we are going to start from this one chain space.
So insert here make a slip stitch then chain.
One just loose your loop.
A little bit make a puff stitch into this one chain, space, close.
It one chain in the same space, make one more close it with a chain.
One more chain.
Okay, we are going to put two puff stitch into all spaces.
We have or one chain spaces.
One chain, one more chain into the next put two one chain, put two two two, just complete this row, I'll complete this row.
Join from here and you're gonna have totally 20 past stitch insert into this one chain space make a slip stitch chain.
One put two puff stitch into this one chain space and into this next chain.
One space, we are gonna make a double crochet yarn over insert here, wrap the yarn pull through two pull through two into this next between these two path, stitches we're gonna put two positives between these two sets.
We are gonna make one double crochet, make a chain and make two puff, stitch one chain.
And here put a double crochet, one chain, two puff, stitch a double crochet, one chain and put two puff, stitch repeat this for this row in this last space, put a double crochet, one more chain and join with a slip stitch make a slip stitch.
We will always put two puff stitch between these two one chain.
And here we are gonna make back post double crochets.
And also we will increase these double crochets for all the rows.
So I'm gonna make two back post double crochets around this.
One double crochet yarn over insert your hook around this double crochet wrap, the yarn yarn over pull through two yarn over pull through two now I'm gonna make one more one two then chain.
One, two, puff, stitch, two back posts.
One two chain.
One, two, puff, stitch, two back post, double crochets, repeat this till the end of the row complete the row join with the slip stitch make one more slip stitch and make two puff, stitches one chain.
Now for this row, we will have, um, totally three back post, double crochets I'm gonna make two around this first one and one around this.
Second, one two around the next make only one and chain one two, puff, stitches one two back post and that's three chain.
One make two puff, stitch that's, our repeat just complete the row for the next row.
We are gonna start with two puff, stitch then we're gonna make four, uh back post, double crochets two around this.
First one, one, two only one only one I have four back post double crochets now chain.
One make two puff stitch put two around this.
First one only one and one more back post double crochet chain, one make two puff, stitch complete the row now complete the row and join.
You must see music.
Okay.
Now, start with two puff, stitches make totally a five back post double crochets two around this.
First one, I made two now I'm gonna put only one back post double crochet for each of them chain.
One two, puff, stitch, one, two and make three back post double crochets in a row start with five repeat this for the next row.
We're gonna start with two puff, stitches and make six pack post double crochet two from this first one around this first, okay and put one for each of the rest.
Two puff, stitch one two around the first one, one, two, three, four in a row, repeat this.
I complete this row two by the way we have another visitor what's this.
And now I'm gonna keep repeating same thing.
I'm gonna put two puff stitch here just a second just a second pain, see and I'm gonna make increases uh around this.
First one, sorry for this just a second.
Okay, I'm gonna turn back.
Okay.
Now, I'm gonna keep increasing.
I think I'm gonna make two more rows for the next row.
I will have seven and next row.
I will have eight.
I want to reach 20 to 23 centimeters.
If you're a loose hand crocheter, you could reach 22 centimeters.
Now maybe it's be better.
If you finish with an even numbers of back post double crochet here, but if you're not it's, not so important.
Okay, uh, I'm gonna make two more rows as I showed you and turn back.
I made two more rows.
And now it's, nine inches long, 23 centimeters long.
Now we will stop increasing make your two puff stitches now for here, a count I have eight double crochets here by the way count four and between these double crochets here between this fourth and fifth double crochet, I'm gonna make two puffs these like I did here.
You're gonna make back post double crochets, four back post, double crochets, two, pasties, four back post, double crochets.
If you have an odd number here, just use the middle stitch, for example, if you have seven just use this middle stitch and make your puff stitch here, make three back posts, two pass stitch three back posts.
Now, make one two three four chain.
One make two puff, stitch here chain.
One four back post, double crochets chain.
One I'm gonna show you one more time.
One, two, three, four chain, one and four more back post double crochet chain, one.
And at first it will look a little weird, but um don't mind.
It just complete this row.
See you? I complete the row and I made my first two.
Puff, stitch make a chain and four back fours double crochets, three four chain.
One put two puff stitch into this middle space, make a chain.
Four back post double crochet chain.
One make two puff stitch.
Now we're gonna repeat this for totally four or five rows I'm, not sure about it count from here.
I made two I'm gonna make at least two more rows.
When I turn back I'm gonna give you the measurements again, see you? Okay.
Now I made totally five rows, it's, 12 and a half inch 32 centimeters long.
And here is six centimeters long.
Now we will make decreases start with the same way chain one.
Now we will make two back posts, uh, double crochet together, I'm gonna use the easy way I'm gonna insert around these two double crochets, first, two, okay and make only one back post double crochet and around these two make one and one more you see, I have three now chain.
One make it one more time and on these two make only one back post, then two more repeat this for this row, see at that for the next row we are going to start with the same way and make a decrease again, just make your back post double crochet around these two this time and make one more here.
I have two double crochets.
Just with this.
I started this row and make this two puff stitch now I'm gonna let me see, yeah, make a chain and make only one back post double crochet around these two make a chain.
Two puff, stitch one back post, double crochet, two, puff, stitches and one back post double crochet, that's, all you are going to repeat this for this row, make your two puff stitch.
Now skip here, skip all of this.
This one chain double crochet and chain and into this space, put two pasties skip here.
Two puff, stitch skip here and make two see at the end.
Now, starting from here, we're gonna close this hat, finish it insert into this one chain space and make a slip stitch.
And now into this space.
We are gonna make two single crochets one two into this.
Next space, put two single crochets to here, put two skip here, put two single crochets.
Okay.
We are gonna put two single crochets into all the one chain spaces.
We have see it.
Then I complete single crochet string from this first stitch chain, one and put one single crochet into each stitch I'm going to repeat this single crochet row for a few more rows.
I'm, not sure how many rows I think I thought I will totally make four rows, maybe five, not sure if you want when you finish this row, you can change your hook, you can use a 3.5 millimeter hook because I will not make any decreases in the single crochet rows.
If you don't have any 3.5 millimeter, it's, okay, you can use four millimeter, it's, not too important.
But I think I will try it and show you.
I will just make my rows.
And when I turn back I'm gonna give you all the details, see you? I totally made four rows for this.
Last two, as I told you before, I use 3.5 and that's all no.
We are gonna hide this tail and that's it.
It looks beautiful and it's.
