Air India Express has significantly boosted its presence in Goa by officially launching operations from Manohar International Airport (GOX) in North Goa, complementing its long-standing services at Goa International Airport (GOI). With this dual-airport strategy, the airline now operates more than 115 flights weekly from Goa, including 75 from GOI and over 40 from the new GOX hub. This move enhances travel flexibility while offering seamless access to North Goa’s world-famous beaches, nightlife, markets, and cultural experiences.

From April 15, 2025, Air India Express began operating direct flights from North Goa to Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, and Indore—strengthening domestic links to the region. The airline now offers twice-daily services to Delhi, daily flights to Bengaluru and Indore, and near-daily flights to Chennai. Hyderabad–North Goa flights will launch on May 3, 2025. Expanding internationally, the carrier will introduce direct services to Kuwait starting May 3 and to Abu Dhabi from May 5, adding global reach to its North Goa network.

To celebrate the milestone, Air India Express and Manohar International Airport hosted an inaugural event. Attendees included Siddhartha Butalia, Chief Marketing Officer of Air India Express; Shashi Chetia, Vice President – Network Planning; and Anand Ramachandran, Deputy CEO of the airport. Key stakeholders from CISF, Customs, and other operational teams were also present. The airline marked the occasion by presenting a commemorative boarding pass to the first passenger of the new service.
