Hey gang, I have put together some of my FAVORITE recipes to eat on #FASTerWaytoFatLoss program! With the FASTer Way to Fat Loss program, we try to eat whole food nutrition as much as possible. This means if it has a mother or comes from the ground it is free game. This isn’t always possible but I try to stick to this philosophy 90% of the time. We also try to live a gluten-free and dairy-free lifestyle at least during the first 6 weeks of the program. So many people have a intolerance or sensitivities to gluten and dairy and don’t even know it until they eliminate these items and bring them back in.
In the FASTer Way, we carb cycle. This means we have a intentional variation of our carb intake. We have low carb and regular macro days. This is explained further during prep week so be sure to ask your coach if you need additional explanation or sign up for my next 7 week program to learn more.
One of my favorite recipes of all time even before FWTFL is this Black Bean Quinoa Salad, which is delicious served cold or hot! It is a vegan option packed full of protein but if you want to add even more protein consider adding shrimp or even lean ground beef or turkey taco meat.
Slow Cooker Taco Chili is another favorite recipe. This can be prepped in advance as a freezer meal too. This recipe is great for a regular macro day. We also have a couple of other chili options – Slow Cooker Turkey Chilior White Bean Chicken Chili.
This easy jambalaya recipe is a classic dish of Louisiana. Easy weeknight recipe with very little prep time required.
Even children will enjoy the sweet Asian flavors in this marinated chicken breast recipe. (To make this FWTFL compliant – sub out the brown sugar for coconut sugar or 2 Tablespoons of raw maple syrup.) Perfect for an easy grill night or drop all the ingredients in your slow cooker for a delicious meal ready and waiting for you when you come home. Serve over rice or noodles with a vegetable.

The beef carnitas are flavorful with a warm smoky flavor that has a authentic taste with just five simple yet powerful ingredients.
Since you are just using the beer for flavor and will pull the roast out of the juice/sauce, you shouldn’t worry too much about the carb content BUT if can substitute out the beer for water or beef broth if you prefer. Also, eat with lettuce wraps or on a salad on low carb days or with corn tortillas on a regular macro day.

The 16/8 method: Fast for 16 hours and eat only during an 8-hour window. For most people, the 8-hour window would be around noon to 8 p.m. A study on this method found that eating during a restricted period resulted in the participants consuming fewer calories and losing weight.
There are many different fasting regimens and it is unclear which may be the best. One of the most popular is the 5:2 system. This involves 2 days a week of fasting or VLCD and 5 days a week of eating your normal diet. Diets that incorporate fasting can cause rapid weight loss.
The FASTer Way to Fat Loss program includes 2 low carb days each week. On these days you will consume under 50g NET Carbs. Net Carbs is equal to Carbohydrates minus Dietary Fiber. You can find this in the MyFitnessPal app for easy calculation.
However, a general guideline for fat loss is to aim for a moderate protein intake, with slightly higher proportions of carbohydrates and lower proportions of fats. A common macro ratio for fat loss is 45% of calories from carbohydrates, 25% from protein, and 30% from fats.
Evolution of Fitness Since its launch in 2016, The FASTer Way to Fat Loss, pioneered by Amanda Tress, has redefined weight loss through a strategic fusion of workouts, meal plans, carb cycling, and intermittent fasting. Can you drink alcohol on the program? Yes, but just make sure it fits in your macros. I would personally recommend limiting alcohol intake altogether to just the weekends. I also don't recommend drinking alcohol on low carb days.

Weight loss shakes also work in the short term. "People who use these portion-controlled foods to replace two meals per day can lose about 50% more weight than those who don't," says Delahanty. This is because the shakes provide fewer calories than someone typically consumes at a meal.
With the Slimfast plan, you eat two Slimfast meal replacements, three 100-calorie snacks (Slimfast snack bars, fruits, veggies, or even nuts), and one 500-calorie meal that you provide. With this plan you can eat 6 times per day. The program says you can lose a safe 1 to 2 pounds per week with this strategy.
